Q: What locations do you serve?
A: Delaware County, PA area primarily as well as Philadelphia suburbs, and more! Travel fees apply to locations further out from Delco. Can also do sessions located in Cape May, NJ for low flat rate travel fee (except weddings). Need help with selecting a location - will be happy to provide recommendations!
Q: How and when do I book my wedding or session with you?
A: The sooner the better! We can book as far in advance as you like! This will reserve your date in advance before it may become unavailable. Contact me on my website, or email at jamiecatherinephoto@gmail.com. Please inform me regarding the type of session you would like, when, and where!
Q: Will you tell us what to do when it comes to posing?
A: This is a common question and the answer is yes of course! I will give you as much guidance as needed, whether you are a natural or want full direction. Don't worry, it will feel so effortless, you won't even feel like you're posing!
Q: When will I receive my photos?
A: Waiting can be hard! That is why I send a "sneak peek" of your session usually the next day! Your full gallery will be ready within 3-4 weeks. (weddings or large events will increase lead time).
Q: I need my portraits as soon as possible! Can I get them sooner?
A: Final edited images is just like artwork which takes time. I understand you may need your portraits as soon as possible which is why I recommend booking in advance. However, you do have the option of paying a $50.00 rush fee. Your gallery will then be delivered within 10 days (weddings and large events do not apply.)
Q: What colors /outfits go best with your editing style?
A: I have a color style guide for you to check out! Colors are a huge component of your photographs. Jamie Catherine Photography signature editing reflects an airy but bold style so you have timeless images reflecting a trendy look. My editing style is true to color but a wow factor added in to pop! Neutral colors, jewel tones, and muted tones are usually the best choices. When you book a session, I will provide you with a style guide for your reference!
Q: I have an outfit I am not sure about. Can you give me your opinion?
A: I'd love to! I went to school for Fashion Merchandising, and I will be happy to give you my honest and helpful thoughts!
Q: What happens if it is supposed to rain during my session?
A: I understand the weather can be very unpredictable. We can usually handle light rain, but if the forecast looks severely poor within 1-2 days prior to your session, I will try my best to reschedule. We can use the same deposit towards the rescheduled session as long as it takes place within the next 30 days. For weddings, I know the show must go on rain or shine! Don't worry, rain can be the ultimate artistic effect!
